In order to effectively enhance the company's emergency response capabilities to fire accidents and strengthen the fire safety awareness and self-rescue and mutual rescue skills of all employees, on July 11th, the company successfully carried out a tense and orderly fire drill in the factory area. The event was organized by the Safety Management Department and all employees actively participated in it, achieving good results.
The company made full preparations before the drill. The Safety management department developed a detailed drill plan, clarifying the responsibilities and procedures of each link. At the same time, plenty of fire extinguishers were prepared and the drill site was elaborately arranged with clear evacuation signs. In addition, a fire safety training was organized for the staff, explaining fire escape skills and the use of fire-fighting equipment, laying a solid foundation for the smooth conduct of the drill.
On the day of the drill, it officially kicked off with a shout of "Fire!" After the simulated fire broke out, the person found on the scene immediately dialed the internal fire alarm number and reported the fire situation to the fire control room. The fire control room promptly activated the emergency response plan and informed the staff to evacuate in an orderly manner.
Upon receiving the evacuation instructions, the staff of each department, led by the person in charge, covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, bent down and evacuated quickly along the pre-arranged evacuation routes to the assembly points. Everyone cooperated and worked in an orderly manner. The entire evacuation process was efficient and swift, and it took only five minutes to complete the safe assembly of all employees.
After the assembly was completed, everyone was eager to get the fire extinguishers in practice. The safety management staff first gave a standard demonstration, explaining in detail the steps and precautions for using the fire extinguisher. Then, the staff moved forward in turn according to their groups and, under the on-site guidance of the staff, successfully completed actions such as lifting the bottle, pulling the pin, aiming and pressing, and successfully extinguished the simulated fire source. The entire practical operation was orderly and the employees were fully engaged. Through personal experience, they further mastered the correct way to use the fire extinguisher and effectively enhanced their ability to extinguish initial fires.
The fire drill, which combined simulated fire evacuation with practical use of fire extinguishers, enabled all employees to have a direct understanding of fire emergency response skills and further consolidated the company's fire safety management foundation. The general manager said that the company will take this drill as an opportunity to carry out regular safety training and emergency drills, continuously improve the safety literacy of all employees, and build a solid defense line for the company's safe production.
